Renewable energies such as "solar" and "wind" are of safest and least harmful energies to our environment.

We have designed the first Central Receiver Solar Power Plant of Iran and we intend to extend our engineering activity towards other renewable energies like "wind" energy too.

In Central Receiver Solar Power Plant tracking mirrors focus sun light on to a receiver mounted on a tower, which absorbs the solar energy as heat.The system then converts the heat energy into electricity. In this plant a thermal storage subsystem is considered so that when there is no sun the plant can generate electricity too.

در نيروگاه خورشيدي از نوع دريافت كننده مركزي، گرماي خورشيد توسط آينه هايي كه كنترل مي‌ شوند به دريافت كننده مركزي منتقل مي شود، پس از آن انرژي حرارتي به انرژي الكتريكي تبديل مي گردد. در اين نيروگاه سيستم ذخيره انرژي پيش بيني شده است تا در ساعتهايي كه آفتاب وجود ندارد نيز بتوان انرژي الكتريكي را توليد كرد.

انرژي هاي تجديد پذير، مانند انرژي خورشيدي و انرژي باد از جمله انرژي هاي سالمي هستند كه كمترين تاثيرات نامطلوب را بر محيط زيست دارند.

ما طراحي اولين نيروگاه خورشيدي ايران از نوع دريافت كننده مركزي را انجام داده ايم و در نظر داريم كه فعاليتهاي مهندسي خود را به ساير انرژي هاي تجديدپذير از قبيل انرژي باد نيز توسعه دهيم.
